Proper diagnosis and specialized follow-up are fundamental in the treatment of vascular abnormalities. For some of them, medical care by a specialised multidisciplinary centre is essential, as the risks of complications can take serious and diverse forms and affect different organs.
For residents of the European Union, we encourage you to check the list of medical centres that are part of the European reference network established by VASCERN. VASCERN is the European medical network of reference centres for the management of rare vascular diseases, where there are different working groups, including one specifically focused on vascular abnormalities.
