The International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) was officially founded in 1992, two years after its first International Conference on Vascular Anomalies in 1990 in Amsterdam..
The ISSVA conferences, which take place all over the world, bring together hundreds of international specialists from different medical disciplines involved in the treatment of patients affected by vascular abnormalities. These biennial conferences have fostered personal contact, collaboration and informal exchange of knowledge, discoveries and research related to vascular abnormalities, which include both common and rare conditions.
ISSVA brings together dedicated physicians, research scientists and nurses who attend workshops and support the organization's fundamental mission to improve the lives of patients with vascular anomalies. Next year, in the spring of 2018, the 22nd edition of these international meetings will be held. Participating members will meet where it all began, in the beautiful city of Amsterdam.
From 29 May to 1 June 2018, a wide range of specialists - including interventional radiologists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, KESACO surgeons, geneticists, paediatricians, paediatric surgeons, oncologists and pathologists - will present the latest developments in the study and treatment of vascular abnormalities.
This event can be of great interest to all our members. If you would like to know more, please visit the ISSVA website:
